Reading Homework

Reading homework will be checked on Thursday morning. Children need to have read on 2 separate days throughout the week (Thursday–Thursday) and an adult needs to have signed their diary to show that they have been listened to. Children will earn 10 wellians for reading homework on Thursday but will be fined 5 wellians if it has not been completed. Children can earn the 5 wellians back if they read Thursday night. If children have not read by Friday, they will need to miss their break time and read. Any additional reading throughout the week will be awarded an extra wellian per day. Children need to bring their reading book and diary to school every day. 

Maths Homework

Maths homework is handed in on Thursday morning. New maths homework will be given out on Friday. Children will earn 10 wellians for completing maths homework and will be fined 5 wellians if it has not been completed. Children can earn the 5 wellians back if they complete their homework on Thursday night. If children have not completed their maths homework by Friday, they will need to miss their break time and complete it. Maths homework will be given in a maths homework folder and will support children's mathematics learning in school. 

Spelling Homework

Spelling homework is handed in on Thursday morning. New spellings will be given out the same day.  Please follow the information on the first page of their spelling homework book. Children need to complete their spelling homework in their spelling homework book. Children will earn 10 wellians for completing their spelling homework and will be fined 5 wellians if it has not been completed by Thursday. Children can earn the 5 wellians back by completing the homework and handing it in on Friday. If children have not completed their spelling homework by Friday, they will need to miss their break time to complete it.

All homework is due on Thursday, children have a week to complete all their homework. If your child has not completed their homework by Friday, they will have to stay in at playtime on that day. They will be able to play outside once their homework is completed and checked by a member of staff.
